Yet Maura Higgins revealed she still has plenty of downtime as she enjoyed a beach day in Fiji on Wednesday, where the Peacock series is being filmed.
After the season five premiere aired that evening, Maura seemed to be in a celebratory mood as she larked around on the shores.
Clad in a tiny floral ʙικιɴι from Neena Swim, the 32-year-old reality star showcased her incredible figure, posing up a storm to show off her toned abs and peachy bottom.
She captioned the images: ‘I came here for Love………Island.’
Maura has been revealed as the social media ambᴀssador for Love Island USA with the programme’s official Instagram sharing the news last week.
Maura smouldered for the snap which was shared alongside a caption reading: ‘This just in… Maura Higgins will be your social ambᴀssador this season bringing (sneaking) you the BTS scoop all summer!’
Yet while she’s happy to work on the American iteration of the show, she has no plans to return to the series as a contestant.
Amid claims there is a Love Island ‘all-stars’ series in development, Maura – who sH๏τ to fame on the hit show in 2019 – confirmed she has been approached by producers.
The reality star told Goss.ie that she ‘doesn’t want to go back in time’ and she has moved on from the show.
She said: ‘I can’t see myself ever doing that again, no. I’ve been asked, but I’ve said no.
‘I just think, I’ve done it once, I’ve had my time on Love Island. I don’t really want to go back in time, I want to look to the future.’
A source told The Sun earlier this year that the all-star series is in ‘development’ as they attempt to scout ‘some of the Sєxiest islanders’.
They said: ‘The plan would be to invite some of the Sєxiest and most successful former islanders to see if they can find love for a second time around.’
Male contestants set for a return could include 2017 series winner Kem Cetinay, 26, and 2016 star Scott Thomas, 28.
Even if she did fancy her time in the villa again, Maura is no longer looking for love after her new boyfriend Bobby Holland Hanton confirmed their romance.
Maura’s romance with Bobby is her first serious relationship since her 2021 split from Strictly pro Giovanni Pernice.
The pair were together for four months, but Maura removed all loved-up pH๏τos of her and Giovanni when they suddenly parted ways.
As well as dating Curtis Pritchard and Chris Taylor, who both starred alongside Maura on Love Island in 2019, the presenter also dated MK Dons footballer Connor Wickham and former TOWIE star Joey EsSєx.
