The delightful vintage piece from Johnson’s archives featured subtle floral print and H๏τ pink lace trims that were carefully offset by Rodrigo and her stylists, Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo, with a pair of sparkly baby blue heels, providing a perfectly Y2K color clash. And while the accessories were equally lovely—in particular, the floral corsage Rodrigo wore as a bracelet—it was the cheeky pair of pom-pom pigtails that felt like the perfect final nod to Rodrigo’s beloved decade. In an interview with Vogue in May, she noted “I wish I could be a teenager in the ’90s, because that’s my favorite music ever.” Clearly, Olivia Rodrigo’s love affair for the ’90s is one of both substance and style.
