Delilah Belle Is Thriving
The model has been candid in the last year about her sobriety and past issues affecting her physical and mental health. It is exciting and refreshing to see her post a two-year anniversary of her sobriety.
Delilah is currently on a relaxing lake-side vacation with her mom Lisa Rinna, dad, Harry Hamlin, and her sister, Amelia Gray. The family loves Muskoka and Rinna has spoken about the peace the family has found there in the past on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Delilah is celebrating her anniversary there surrounded by sunshine and love, she didn’t go all out for the celebration. She shared a few words that she lives by now and beware it’s an emotional read from someone who is no longer afraid to be vulnerable.
Delilah Belle’s Sweet Message
The former reality TV kid shared a hand-drawn picture of a bullfrog that had the words “Happy 2 Year” written beside it. Besides the bullfrog drawing being badᴀss, Delilah wrote, “2YearsSOBER!!”
“It’s really just a different lifestyle & I’m so happy I found it & enjoy it. I’m so proud of myself.
Even though it wasn’t HARD, it wasn’t EASY.” Delilah continued, “You do you just make sure while you’re doing you, YOU feel like YOU. That’s my advice.”
The empowering message didn’t come with an inauthentic flashy pH๏τo, the paper message was laid on white cotton sheets, simple. Delilah Belle accidentally overdosed in 2021. “My body got dependent on Xanax number one, and number two I overdosed,” Delilah detailed in an emotional video in November.
“I didn’t mean to at all. I overdosed on this one medication called Propranolol. And I took Benadryl with it and for some reason, I ended up in the hospital.” She was released from the hospital and went to “this beautiful place in Arizona that would help me come down on the Xanax.”
Delilah Belle Spent 3 Weeks In Rehab
She further explained that her addiction was subsiding “I wasn’t like a drug addict, but my body was dependent on it because of how much the doctor had prescribed me.” She spent three weeks in Arizona getting fully clean and mentally ready to deal with addiction in the real world.
Hamlin said she “cut down so much” on her Xanax usage seemingly having more control over it than she did in the past. At six months sober she decided to share the story of her overdose and here she is two years later and still thriving!!
Delilah went back to work as a model and has since been in campaigns and walked on runways for Givenchy and Pageboy Projects. She also dropped a single called “Nothing Lasts Forever”
